Since 2005, Chiarra Acuna Acebo has served as a Political Accounts Supervisor for Kaufman Legal Group. Ms. Acebo's duties include managing committee bank accounts and preparing campaign finance disclosure reports for the firm's various clientele, including unions, local and statewide political candidates and ballot measure campaign committees.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Acebo led the California Democratic Party's Statewide Coordinated Campaign as its Controller. She managed a budget of over $2 million dollars that included a staff of close to 100 employees. Ms. Acebo developed fiscal practices and provided financial oversight and accountability for an array of campaign activities and programs, such as direct mail, constituent organizing, communications, research, and voter protection conducted by the Party’s network of local field offices and statewide headquarters. Prior to that, Ms. Acebo served in the office of Congresswoman Linda Sanchez (CA-39) as her Scheduler and Asian American Community Outreach Representative.
