Sandy Lisa Franco joined Kaufman Legal Group as a Political Accounts Supervisor in May of 2010. She works with candidates, elected officials and political committees managing their bank accounts, filing campaign finance reports and ensuring compliance with state and local campaign finance laws.

Prior to joining Kaufman Legal Group, Ms. Franco worked for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa for some five plus years. As the Manager of Protocol and Special Events, Ms. Franco collaborated on the production of large and small scale events, including Official Mayoral dignitary dinners, receptions for heads of states, and the City's Heritage Month celebrations.  Before that, she served as the Assistant to the Chief of Staff, where she gained invaluable experience in creative and effective leadership. Ms. Franco also held other positions in the Villaraigosa administration, including Assistant Scheduler to the Mayor, where she was responsible for creating a systematic method of tracking/reviewing and responding to thousands of invitations and meeting requests, and Commissions Assistant, helping to appoint over 100 City Commissioners.

While studying Political Science at California State University Northridge, Ms. Franco interned for the Villaraigosa Transition Team, and volunteered for the Villaraigosa Mayoral campaign, gaining practical day to day campaign knowledge. Sandy Franco is a native to Los Angeles and is active in the LGBT community with organizations such as Latino Equality Alliance.
